What is an ISA Certified Arborist® ?
An ISA arborist certification is a nongovernmental, voluntary process that allows individuals to document their expertise in tree care. This certification provides a measurable assessment of a professional's knowledge in essential competencies such as tree biology, diagnosis, maintenance practices, and particularly in areas like Insect and Disease Control, Soil Analysis and Conditioning, Tree Health Inspections, and Tree Injections and Fertilization. When someone becomes an ISA Certified Arborist®, they gain recognition from peers and the public as a qualified tree care professional with a generally accepted level of knowledge.
